Program Description: Seedlings Preschool offers care in a safe and loving environment for children between the ages of 2.5 to 5 years. The program is theme-based meaning that the teachers choose a topic of interest, and then provide activities and toys that teach and allow children to explore the topic. There is a focus on Kindergarten readiness, which includes both structured and unstructured time to learn and explore.

In each theme the children will learn about who God is through creation and His love for His children. Teachers will incorporate in all themes and awareness and respect for ourselves, others, and for God

God has made each child unique, and to respect that, the teachers will on an ongoing basis, work to create an environment that supports the growth and development of each child.

Program Philosophy: Seedling Preschool will provide an environment, which is safe and stimulating in order to facilitate learning, exploration and creativity for each child.

Both group and individual activities will help prepare your child for kindergarten. Our goal is to help your child develop holistically by encompassing all developmental domains – physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual. We will be using positive guidance techniques with a wide variety of specially chosen toys, books, and games to assist your child achieve his or her full potential.

Seedlings are an interdenominational nursery school. The staff will model Christian values and programming, which will include teaching Christian morals and building Christian character through Bible stories and songs.

Hours of the Day	9:00 to 11:30 a.m. 1:00p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Friday only 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
Months of the year	Sept to July

Seedlings Preschool is closed and No fees will be charged for the following: Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, 2 weeks at Christmas, New Years Day, and the Month of August.
